seeking God’s Kingdom
Our family remains a part of Community Life Church in South Atlanta, a church seeking to love our neighborhood as a parish (living and working within a specific geographic area to concentrate energy, resources, and relationships). Nate recently joined a team of pastors, working to cultivate spiritual vitality among our neighbors. Throughout the year, we facilitate Community Prayer Walks every first and third Friday of each month.
And three Community House Gatherings are forming with the idea that everything and everyone exists for a redemptive purpose. Every home and building, every blade of grass, every person—each is meant to honor God. These gatherings include prayer, opening up the scriptures, breaking bread, and building friendships. The goal for each street is to experience and hear about the hopeful way of Jesus, as we love through listening to the hearts, concerns and dreams of local neighbors.
